initially booked for Beach Unit but due to some concerns, facility was not ready. great communication from Te Tiriti Motel Waitangi informing us of changes made to our booking timely. thank you for the upgrade! Would definitely book our stay again :
Stayed from Thursday through to Sunday. No one was around to welcome any customers. Key left in lockbox outside door. Trouble is no light to actually see to enter codes. Overseas tourists were left outside for an hour while we and other guests tried to get hold of anyone. Bed was cheap mattress which was the worse to sleep on. Woke up with BUGS cockraches on us. Liquid soap in shower not filled. Water stank and not drinkable. Road is busy and noisy. Right next to countdown which was great to grab food, shampoo and bottled water, but woken Friday at5am with delivery trucks. Would I stay again? The answer is definitely NO.
My second tyme here, I've enjoyed my stay everytime I've come here, my children love the water, so they swim every tyme they see the pool.Rooms: 5/5
Really great value for money. Incredibly comfy bed, awesome pool and loved that our room had a bath in it. Simple, but clean and fresh and nice and quiet.
We will definitely be back. Such lovely staff, room smelt devine, it was clean and tidy, comfy beds. The pool was good. No faults. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. Kids enjoyed it too
Staff are fabulous, reception popped on heat pump as quite cold very thoughtful. Only small issues, no milk provided and not enough blankets, and soap dispenser in ahower was empty, and clump of hair on toulet system, but this is small, would give 4.5 stars but dont think.I can. We would return as close to shops and beach, they have a good pool which imagine would be great in summer.
When booking I mentioned my daughter was walking from the cape to bluff for the "I am hope " charity,we were given a discount, what kind hearts,many thanks ,we ended up staying extra days and our host juggled her bookings to make it work ,the room was like a lounge away from home ,the shower pressure was next level, loved it .we all enjoyed the pool .can't say thanks enough.
Pool was green and the yard wasn't maintained. Lawns and gardens poorly kept around the pool. Room was clean and comfortable but we were there for the pool and it wasn't up to standard. The place looks nothing like the photos. The link for my booking.com review expired to write a review half an hour after checking out.
Great value for money. Clean tidy and has everything you need. Staff were awesome. Took 2 kids with us and they enjoyed their own space in their room while we watched some sky in the lounge with the heat pump on blast. Will defs be back
Totally enjoyed our stay, the unit was nice andclean, well equipped with only a short walk to the beach and countdown. Pool was great, well maintained our girls loved it. Anita was welcoming and went beyond her means to accommodate anything we may have needed. Would highly recommend Te Tiriti Motel to anyone and look forward to staying here again.
