Te Rata is a small-production winery with an eye on sustainability and stewardship of the land. We use only organically-grown grapes, mostly our own, and make our wine is made here in the lush Matakana region. At Te Rata, we hand-craft premium natural New Zealand wines without added sulfites, filtering, or fining with sustainability and careful stewardship of the land at the forefront of everything we do.
