Quite a nice park with a playground. The carpark is quite large and it is close to the playground area. We stopped by for lunch here, eating on the tables beside the playground. It looked quite wide with a walking pathway around the park itself. It was a nice stop for a little rest.
Beautiful park with a great seaward outlook on a nice day. Plenty of parking & toilet facilities for club games. No spectator seating field side so bring your own seat if you need one.
I regularly start and finish my walk of the Omana Perimeter Loop Track from here. There are splendid water views especially from the higher parts of the track. And the walk along the farmland border and through the bush and wetlands is very pleasant.
We walk our dog here every day. The park has good facilities, lovely views and the dogs are free to run around. The locals us, not biased at all are very friendly. The walk is great for kids who want to ride their bikes. We have riden all along the track and back. 5 km each way. There are two playgrounds along the walk which are nice for the kids and to break up the bike ride.
Great open space to throw a Frisbee, kick a ball around or ride your bike along the pathway. Beautiful views and a nice spot to sit on the small beach area. You can walk up towards Omana Reserve and onto Maraetai or in the other direction you can walk up the hill to Beachlands
Nice start to walk or run along the coast.
My daughter is training Ripper Rugby
Beautiful park. Almost makes me want to move out here. There are cricket nets, football goals, tennis club and changing rooms and a shop.
