Stunning views over Taumarunui and surrounding areas. Hike up the steps or if you’re not that way inclined take the easier option and drive to the lookout. Beautiful spot with a few picnic tables, a nice grassy area and undercover shelter. Worth visiting when in Taumarunui!

Great spot for a panoramic outlook on Taumarunui. On our first visit there, it gave us a great overview.
Interesting drive through the suburbs brings you to a lookout over the town, we didn't stay long as it was raining.nShame that there's no information on the memorial on the road though as it interested me in its origin
