Te Ngahere-o-Tawa

Te Ngahere-o-Tawa is a good bush to walk, run and bike, also dog friendly with on leash. There are all pine trees inside and pine cones on the ground everywhere, some of the tree are quite thick and old, full fresh air like a nature oxygen bar. Four different path, but all way is uphill, need climb about 200 metres to the broken hill road. Wild bird and mushroom around. There is a swing beside broken hill road, can sit there and take a break.

A really good loop for mountain biking here calledgame of two halves. The up is a shared track for walkers and bikingbeach way and the downhill is solely biking.

Pine forest and some native.nOften has tip smell sadly but it is very close to local landfill.nSheltered in bad weather

I have to admit that it is only signed posted on one side and not marked when walking up Kiwi Cresent from tawa. It would also be helpful to know how long the walks are as well.

The dh bike trail is nice and flowy and well built.
