Te Marua is a lovely course that uses the Hutt river and it's contours to great advantage. Would recommend for any level of golfer.
Beautiful place! Very scenic with the river nearby and heaps of trees and native bird life. The grounds are reasonably well maintained. Quite out of the way for anyone who doesn't live out in the Hutt Valley and generally always a bit of traffic along the whole way, but all good. Would recommend this place if you're after a leisurely day away from the noise.nnKaren who works in the reception area, is very friendly and professional. Everybody upstairs who works on the food is also amazing!
Greatest course in the Hutt Valley? Some might say.nnHad a hole in one on 11 in 2018 so holds a special place in my heart still waiting for my name on the honors board.nnYou can't beat the serenity particularly for weekday twilight rounds.nnThe course is made of two very different nines, both with their own challenges. The front nine has some particularly fun holes starting with the 1st where your tee shot is hit over the river. Stroke 1 to get you started, many mulligans have been had.nnThey do cheap summer memberships so worth looking into that if you're local.
Went for a family lunch today and the food was amazing. Yummy ,reasonably priced, and well presented.nService was great , views lovely despite the rain. Highly recommend
