A great one stop place that has everything and anythingnFelt safe here I don't think I saw one homeless person asking for anything here at the base .nLoad of parking that's well lit and freenSome individuals were confused about the light . Thinking it meant pay a fee. Some pile even asked If okay to park there if visiting the base play ground . Maybe some sinage could help .
Went to the new Hoyts Movie theater complex. Was an amazing experience, the self service was fun. Ice cream was so yum. Have switch from Village as I fine the movie sound is much better.
Te Rapa, or The Base as we locals call it, is an absolute gem in the heart of Hamilton! I’ve been coming here for a while now, and it never disappoints. The parking is always a breeze - plenty of spaces, even on busy weekends. My friends and I love the variety of retail shops; there’s something for everyone, from fashion to tech. The coffee spots are a lifesaver for my caffeine cravings, and the kids’ play area is a godsend when my friends need to keep the little ones entertained. Dining options are top-notch, too-we’ve had some delicious meals here. My only wish? A proper, professional barber shop. Curiosity Cuts just doesn’t cut it pun intended. A friendly, skilled barber would make this place perfect. Still, 5 stars from me

It is a very modern mall with unique design, the chairs at the rest area are very pretty and comfortable, even the toilet has stunning wall paper. Just so beatiful!!! Te AWA shopping mall is at one side and the business centre with lots of well-know brands are on the other side of the main car park. It is an all-in one shopping mall with food court, cafes, bars, almost all fashion brands shops, vege and groceries store named New Save hs good price, too. Countdown and Kmart are both there. Best place going shopping in Hamilton and even for people in Auckland. If take Te Huia Train from Auckland to Te AWA, you get off the train from Rotokauri and the mall is just around the corner.
