Established in 1968, the Te Atatu Volunteer Fire Brigade is made up of Te Atatu locals who volunteer to serve and protect their Community.
The Te Atatu Volunteer Fire Brigade is made up of committed men and women from all walks of life who are passionate about serving our community.
We are a composite station working together with careers staff and respond to incidents during weekends, public holidays and weeknights. Our training nights are on Mondays from 7 pm to 9 pm.
If you're keen to join us and become a Volunteer Firefighter or our Operational Support team, message us with a contact phone number and our friendly recruitment team will reach out to you.
Candidates will have a good level of fitness, will pass a police check and live in the Te Atatu area. For obvious reasons, we need to consider how far away from our station you live but this will be discussed with you as part of our recruitment process.
Operational Support team members have a full class 2 license and man our Lighting Unit.
So what are you waiting for ....step forward and make a difference!
