Excellent cycling track that goes for a good distance. We rode from Paekakariki through to Otaki which was a good hike. Tracks are well looked after and the bridge under passes are clearly sign posted, safe and easy to navigate. Tracks are easy and well suited to all ages and skills. Not really hard core but more of a flat easy ride.
Great track. Undulating and winding which made it interesting. Busy too with friendly people either walking or riding. Be wary of blind bends though, some people come round corners very fast, and on the wrong side of the path....
Nice paved cycle way, which is easy for kids. It has nice scenery to look as as well. Overall a good cycle way.
Family friendly. Mostly well sign-posted a couple of junctions need guesswork, but cycling next to the ocean you can’t really get lost.
Nice riding and not too steep. Good for the whole family and younger children to ride.
