Story

New Zealand Cabs has been operating in the Tauranga area for over ten years.

New Zealand Cabs is locally owned by Sukhpal Singh and operated.

We have our own local call centre so when you talk to our call centre staff you are talking to a someone who lives and plays in the area.

All our taxis have GPS tracking and security cameras to ensure the safety of our valued clients.

All our drivers have a NZ Police clearance to drive a Taxi and have passed the local area knowledge test.

If I could give this company negative stars I would. My partner took a ride in one of their cabs this past weekend. He accidentally left his phone in the car. The phone happened to be a brand new iPhone X. He caught it pretty quickly 10-15 min later, and we called the company to see if they could locate it. The dispatcher new exactly what car he had taken, and she called the driver to see if he had seen the phone. He told her that he had not. Luckily he was dumb enough to not turn off the phone. My partner and I were able to locate the cab via the find my iphone app. Sure enough, the phone was in the cab my partner had used earlier. We had to follow him from Greerton to Otumoetai to the Mount. We tried to flag him down several times, but it was clear he had no intention of stopping for us. We finally blocked him in at the mount when he was dropping a customer off. My partner opened the door expecting to have to look under the seat to find the phone, but the driver had the phone ready to hand over. During our pursuit we called the dispatcher, so she could inform the driver that he did in fact have our phone. She was not helpful at all. We are truly disgusted by the fact that this driver thought he could make off with my partner's phone. I strongly encourage no one to use this cab company. They are thieves and dishonest.
They were late for pick up. Expensive
BEWARE OF THIS TAXI COMPANY...Had two transactions taken out of my account.. .gave them proof from the bank manager and they still won't refund my $65.10. Now they are saying it's the banks fault?? Been 2 weeks now and they still haven't refunded me back.
Checked my bank account Sunday morning $92.00 taken out at 2.14 and another $72.00 taken out at 2.34 will be putting a complaint in about this and it will be investigated Thank you for coming to my house tonight and soughting out the mistake in the payments And thanks to the manager for your honesty Happy new year
