Lovely little spot to park up for the night . Max stay , 2 nights per month . Dogs are allowed off the leash but must be under control at all times . Doggy poo bags available plus rubbish bins
Quite a bit of traffic noise as the reserve is on a busy road. Nice outlook. Sunset colours were lovely!
Listed as an official Freedom Camping spot on the NZMCA app.nnIf water views are a must for you in your self contained motorhome, then head here.nnIt’s only 5 min north of Thames, and has got water by the mouthful.nnLike most places Coromandel, it’s tidal, there’s rocks and sand and a bit of mud flats when the tides out. Can get a wind straight in your face too. And you’re only a couple hundred metres from a state highway- but I’ll say this: we’ll be back. This is our new “go to” spot!
Nice place to park the motorhome overnight, lovely views of the water. Was quiet at night.
Beautiful spot to have lunch, listen to music or just sit and think. Great for campers and travelers of all kinds.
