Sushi lovers will like this place. Definitely better wrt taste/quality than the other popular sushi restaurant in Devon Street. BTW, this is not a restaurant but a takeaway place with with few chairs and a table outside. Parking: Depends on day/time. Usually parking available in the morning. Wheelchair accessibility: Will be a bit of challenge
We had an epic lunch at Takasago Sushi. The line was small and we all piled up on our favourite sushi rolls and sashimi. A fine selection of colourful, varied, interesting combinations. The smiling cashier was busy cleaning the restaurant around us and piling more delicious sushi in front of us. We all ate our selections of hot and cold food outside on fine day.
Couldn't rate highly enough, we have had work lunches catered by Takasago and Graham and his team have been a delight to deal with. Sushi is amazing!
Lovely, fresh and attractive looking sushi and other Japanese favourites. Good lunchtime spot for a quick bite.
Excellent Sushi, arguable the best in Taranaki, friendly staff, heaps of choices, parking in front of Shop, again our Christmas Dinner this year, can't go wrong.

The BEST sushi I've ever had. love love LOVE this place, the owners should be so proud! They have a great selection of different flavours to choose from, I love their spicy chicken sushi, kaarage chicken and vegetable fritters
Still the best sushi in NZ. Fantastic sushi at a reasonable price. A good variety of options is available to suit all tastes. The pieces are not 90% rice and the fillings arel full of flavour.Food: 5/5
