I ordered small chips garlic, tarahiki, 2 X battered mussels and 2 X calamari. Exceptional! Didn't realise that the garlic would be garlic butter. Also, more fish than chips, which is perfect in my world!
The food tasted good, I ordered an old school egg burger. I just recommend they secure the lettuce a bit better, as I had mine all fall out on the first bite. Also the same with my daughters order, a chicken wrap, lettuce was dropping out, but she loved her kumara chips. Pricing was ok, shop was clean, people who served us were nice .
Steak burger was ok for fast food. But looked a lot more gourmet on their photo.
Great menu range and the beef on the burger is good however the vege burger patty was inedible it was basically fried crumb. Also they really need to increase their chip portion/sizes to be inline with everywhere else in NZ. A small chips is less than half a small bag and a large chips is what you would typically get for a small chip order.
Great selection of food and meals. The service was polite and friendly and meals a decent size and fresh also. Thank you
