A great take out spot. Friendly service and lots to choose from. We took our fish and chips and ate at the picnic area across the street. Love supporting locally owned businesses
Just had awesome fish and chips. Very nice batter, mussels not soggy, lovely sausage, generous fish. Young lady doing cooking very pleasant.
I got an egg burger & a battered sausage.nnAt $12, I felt the burger was a bit expensive... A better price would have been $8-$10. That said, eggs are expensive at the mo, there currently being an egg shortage. Plus the cost of living is through the roof so the price wasn't completely over the top.nnThe battered sausage was large & well priced.nnOverall, I was happy with my meal and would happily repeat it.nnI should note that this establishment normally offers roasts & pizza but none were available today.
Food was average price, was pretty tasty.nBut a 150g can of tomato sauce was $3!nStaff weren’t rude but paid no attention to me at all.nAs I was leaving someone else asked for sauce and they didn’t have to pay for it.nThe next day I went to Hong Kong takeaways which was just across the street from this place, got the same thing and it was cheaper and the service was very friendly.nOverall it’s fine but don’t expect a smile from the staff.
We had fish and chips that were really good. I'll skip the battered sausage next time though.
