Super Lyttelton completely blew us away. The food is absolutely amazing, and the service is incredibly warm and attentive.nWe ordered a variety of dishes from their autumn menu, and every single one was a hit.nnA few highlights:n• Paua Gyoza: Incredible flavor, beautifully executed.n• Rewena Fried Bread: Absolutely delicious and the perfect texture.n• Oyster Mushrooms, Tofu, & Pork Belly: All cooked to absolute perfection.nnIt’s rare to order a spread where every single dish is a standout, but Super managed it effortlessly. If you are anywhere near Christchurch/Lyttelton, you need to eat here. We will definitely be back!
This is genuienly one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in christchurch. Wow. I just have endless compliments about this place.nnWhen we entered we were greeted by the lovely staff and beautiful atmosphere. The vibes and interior were very lovely, quiet and dim.nnWe ordered drinks along with the paua and pork gyoza, pork belly and rewena bread. The restaurant was not too busy so we got our drinks very quickly and the food at almost lightning speed. We were served the rewena bread first, and were absolutely. In awe. Wow. It was incredible. The remaining dishes we ordered also came out soon after, and I think I actually had some kind of awakening.nThe gyoza was genuienly the best I’ve ever tried in Christchurch. Even all of New Zealand for that matter. The moment I took a bite I was genuienly wide-eyed. Absolutely stunned. It just tasted so perfect I couldn’t even believe it. Also the pork belly was extremely tender, so so soft and fell apart in my mouth.nnThe staff were extremely attentive throughout the whole meal. They came over multiple times to check how everything was going. We decided to also order the venison because we wanted to try more of the beautiful dishes here.nnThis was definitely a great decision. It was absolutely delectable. Super soft, beautiful pumpkin i think it was, at least puree to match, with the tastiest red cabbage I’ve ever tried in my entire life layered underneath the venison. We were offered dessert menus but unfortunately we were both too full to eat more which may be the only con I had from the entire night.nnOverall, I would confidently say this is one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had in all of christchurch. Just so stunning all around. Would highly recommend, i know i am definitely coming back again!!!!!!
A new favorite restaurant unlocked nUnique flavorful dishes filled with intention and seasonal selections. So much thought goes into everything to make it worth your time and money on a night out. I loved getting to experience this fusion of Maori and Japanese cuisine, a match made in heaven
A great little find in Lyttleton. Visiting from Brisbane we dropped in for a late lunch/early dinner. What a place. Great atmosphere, fantastic food and super service. We were happy treated to the new menu and super food.
We came here as a walk in for the Matariki menu and we were lucky because a reservation hadn't turned up! We were greeted with immediate warmth, all of the staff were engaging and they seemed to find joy in knowing we were having a delightful experience. We also arrived with only 90 minutes before going to an event and the team hustled to bring our dishes out which we so appreciated.nnThe entire menu was divine, filled with nostalgic flavours fused with a creative flair. The music and atmosphere was awesome and Sahni really looked after us.nnI won't share the highlight dishes as the menu is subject to change but if you appreciate seafood and are open to trying new things then this is the place for you
