It’s SUPER CHEAP in produce quality and support. Got a wheelbarrow which was sold in flat pack. It took me 2 hours to assemble it. But I realised that I cannot use it in my backyard as the front wheel guard is too low so it touches the ground. Next day, I brought it back to the shop to return it. One of the staff members asked the manager to come to give a second opinion. When he came, he was grumpy and did not help at all. The guy then told me that they are busy and cannot disassemble the unit. So I had to disassemble it myself in front of the staff walking around without offering a hand. It was so disappointing.
Supercheap website makes it easy to find out if they have what you want before driving down to the shop. Wairau Park shop always has helpful staff on the back counter if you need assistance. Supercheap is always my first stop when I need auto parts.

I needed to change oil, one of the guys asked for my number plate and told me which oil to get. They were out of stock with the small engine oil can however had 5Litres. So I asked him whether it would be ok and he said that my car takes 8Litres of engine oil as he read something on the screen infront of him. I don't know much about cars and he had it all up on his screen so trusted his words and thought 5Litres would be ok since it can take upto 8Litres. My mate who change oil on his car came and drained it all out He asked if it actually takes 5litres of engine oil and I said that's what the guy at the store said so go ahead and fill it. After an hour or so I tried to drive my car back to my drive way and next minute my neighbourhood was filled with white cloudy smoke and burnt smell. My car stopped half way on my drive way with no drive to move forward. It had to be towed away to the mechanic which cost me $150. Then I was told the transmission had to be replaced which was $7200. My car is fairly new with low kms so I had to get it fixed. According to the mechanic, my car could only handle about 3.5L of engine oil NOT 5 and DEFINITELY NOT 8L. A very costly lesson learnt and that is to NEVER TRUST those guys who work in the stores. They are not professionals. My fault was not knowing much about my car but then how many of us really know how our cars work? Please don't give out incorrect information to your customers. I'd rather you say ' I don't know' that giving me incorrect info and costing me an arm & a leg.
Went in today to get my windscreen wipers changed. The two women who were on were super helpful and made me feel comfortable since I don't know anything about cars. Thank you!

Well stocked and laid out store. Helpful staff. There is a club card membership that gives discount. This store is certainly worth a visit when they have a sale. In the past I have made several purchases with very good discounts.
Great helpful staff had everything I needed. RECOMMEND
