Very Nice.  Wonderful holiday and Great place.

We had a lovely stay, only one night at short notice. But we will be back to enjoy this spot for longer next time. Great big sunny room with a view and everything we needed. We appreciated the warm welcome and hospitality of the staff.

While in Christchurch try and stay here, Sumner is the best suburb, totally relaxing while the world seems years away. Close to the Beach everything is down there that you could need.

We stayed in 8 different places while we were on vacation in New Zealand. While all of the place were very nice, the Sumner Bay Motel was by far our favorite. Great location, extremely clean and well furnished. The owners went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Perfection!

We’ve stayed here quite a few times now and always enjoy our stay. Comfortable rooms and super friendly hosts. It’s right by the poet hills too - perfect for a cycle in the mornings
