Ordered a gluten free wrap. In other subways the people will ask do u want me to change my gloves and wipe the bench down? Not at this subway from Amira, grabbed a gluten free wrap with gloves she was using to handle the bread and then when asked to change her gloves and get another wrap I was met with attitude. I know more than enough it's annoying but it's still the staffs duty to provide care for people with allergies. Not sure if lack of care or lack of training here. The guy was good tho did it without asking and was friendly. Overall bad experience.
Since this Subway changed hands last year, it has gone downhill. The size of the wraps, aka the filling, has become exceedingly small. I do not exaggerate when I say three peoces of spinach. Its clear the staff have been instructed to do this as the issue is across a range of staff. The original staff have gone, replaced with a range of Asian staff, which has caused issues with understanding English for orders, lack of friendliness and no understanding of the importance of food hygiene for allegies. I stopped going because of the wrap size issue, but out of a lack of time today I stopped in. They have now taken all bar a few 'types' or flavours off the menu, reducing options. I checked Subway nationwide, and the missing types are still avaiable throughout NZ, so it the owners choice. I ended up going to Halswell Bakery instead.
Anyone can make a sandwich!...nJust not the two ladies down here today.nI've never seen anything done so slowly in my life.. Painful to watch..nHoping it was all just a joke.nIf you have a whole day to spare, head along!nMaybe order on Monday to collect on Sunday.
Bread was stale, obviously from yesterday.nSandwich was not cut in half as normal.nNo care from the staff here, worst subway in nz
Took 20 minutes from the moment I walked in until I paid. There were two people in front of me. The staff were so slow, people were walking out, even after they had ordered. Then the staff couldn't work out how to redeem my free birthday cookie and drink email, so I couldn't use that. Absolutely unbelievable service, unless the staff improve I definitely won't be back and I'd say there will be more customer walk outs
