I had a very disappointing and disrespectful experience at this Subway store.nnThere were three staff members working two girls and one boy. The boy completely ignored me while I stood there waiting for almost 5 minutes. That part was already frustrating, but it gets worse.nnWhen I went to collect my order, he immediately asked me, “Where is your insulated bag?” He assumed I was an Uber driver without even listening to me. I told him clearly that I had placed an online order as a customer, but he kept repeating the same question about the insulated bag instead of apologising or correcting himself.nnThis behaviour felt extremely disrespectful and discriminatory. Just because I am Indian does not mean I am an Uber driver. And even if someone is an Uber driver, they still deserve basic respect. No one in other stores treats people like this.nnThis kind of attitude towards customers and delivery drivers is unacceptable. Staff need proper training on how to speak respectfully and not make assumptions based on appearance or background.nnVery disappointed.
nnHad a great experience at Subway. The store was clean, the ingredients were fresh, and the team was friendly and efficient. My sandwich was made exactly how I requested, and the service was quick even during a Public Holiday. Always a reliable option for a fresh and tasty meal. Highly recommend!
Very disappointing experience. I was picking up my own order after placing it online, but the staff member assumed I was there to pick up an Uber Eats order and rudely told me twice to “put your bag on the table.” I didn’t even have a bag with me lol..There is nothing wrong with picking up orders, but the tone and attitude were not good at all. A simple polite question would have been much more appropriate.
Ordered through the app for pickup. When I got there I was not acknowledged nor served quickly even though I could see my order in a bag behind the counter, the only one there. The sandwich was incredibly smushed, with the chicken filling sitting on top of the bread practically. It lacked sauce, cheese, and what little bacon there was paid extra! was so stiff I couldn't chew it and had to throw it out. The cold drink was put in the bag next to the sandwich, leaving a cold spot. For the price, you would be better off getting a burger.
Lovely subway lunch at Shirley shopping center in Christchurch today . Super relaxing . Easy walk to store from carpark .nProfessional service , great food , lovely music.nI will recommend everyone to stop and enjoy their break anytime . I will definitely come back
