Just had lunch delivered via Uber. I order the same leg ham Subway often because it tastes so fresh, but, today I couldn’t taste any sauce, pepper and the bread tasted stale. This must be an off-day, hopefully the next order will be as yummy as the rest.
Sat night. 2 staff on only .Doing Uber eats orders as well. You have to be having a laugh.

So disappointing, they only had one choice of bread. They were out of almost everything. There was no bacon for the chicken bacon ranch, but we still got charged full price. You would think that it being the weekend they would manage their stock better, and unfortunately it’s not the first time.
Just some general things I have seen / experienced: Staff don't seem to know how to wash their hands. Even when it's quiet, they would prefer to just get gloves on straight away instead of cleaning hands first. In the middle of a pandemic you would expect better. Meat isn't even cooked properly in the microwaves, it should come out steaming hot and the staff do nothing. Toaster oven doesn't even cook properly. Am shocked that the staff don't acknowledge these things. If you were a pregnant women, this would be a serious health risk. Have emailed and complained, but even the owners don't seem to care and they think that all their equipment is fine. Haven't you ever heard the saying, "The customer is always right"? I guess they don't take that into consideration. Not worth going to this store if those working there just don't care, or actively try to hide it. Not ideal in front of customers.
The staff were just so slow. It was at lunch time, so it was busy but they just seemed to move at zero pace and it took way longer than it should have. They seemed to be getting very confused with the online orders, I saw them make two that ended up being wrong and had to go straight in the bin, further slowing things down. Would not recommend if you are keen on a quick lunch.
Really really good customer service every single time I go. Friends card got declined and he got cookies for free. All my other experiences have been great aswell, and never any issues with the food. Subway Johnsonville is great.
Disappointed to say the least. Girl was constantly touching her hair while making my sub. No pickles available or serviettes. Food salad options and meat looked like they had been sitting there for weeks. Store needs a deep clean. Won't be going back.
This is probably the worst subway in NZ. Everytime we go to place an order for delivery or pickup it says they are unavailable today. So we go into the store only to find staff standing around chatting, not working. I figured maybe they were too busy each time to be able to do an order for pickup or delivery, but no. They are never busy. It seems like they just don't want to work and when it's a busy time of day they make it so people can't place online orders to give them work to do! They are never busy when we go in at peak times. They are always chatting. So why make it so we can't order online?! Plus they 100% always get something wrong in our order - leave out ingredients, forget items, put meat in vegetarian orders. They are a joke. We only go back because they are the closest and someone in my family likes subway, otherwise we would not order from them. They are not great. I have phoned them previously and they said they are too busy, but my partner has been in store 2 minutes later and they are just standing around, with no customers and not making any orders. Laziest subway ever.
