Delicious Chinese restaurant with yum cha service during lunch and a la cart choices as well. Come here with big groups of people and the place has many tables and seats to accommodate group. It also has upper stairs area with dining tables and TV. We usually order steamed fish, corn soup, roasted and Peking duck, calamari, egg plants chicken wings and black pepper beef. Love the coconut buns and sesame balls, especially when they are freshly made. There are some parking spots around the place but it might be a bit tricky. It’s disability friendly for the ground floor. Make sure you make your order clear and check the bill.

Outstanding food quality!! Simple starters but every single one is so delicious. Prawn dumplings are full filled with whole prawn inside. Meat in sho mai are chunky, full of flavor. All of them are house-made, doesn’t like the normal cheap one with lot flour. Glutenese rice chicken is the best I’ve every try in NZ. You shouldn’t miss this gem in Wellington. Our first table booking was 5:30, but it’s cold, windy and rainy. We ask them if we can get in earlier and they are very kindly let us in. Very polite and great service. End up ordering too much food than we can eat, but seriously we will definitely come back again when we’re in Wellington. Highly recommend!!

I’ve been to every yum cha place in Wellington and this one is definitely one of the best! Food kept coming out at such a good pace so there were no big waiting points for when the next food was offered and the dumplings were top tier. Was also the best service we’ve ever had, everyone is so lovely and friendly, especially the lady at the counter.

Great place for Chinese food and enjoying great ambience. Good vegetarian options as well. Must try: deep fried Tofu, pan fried veg dumplings

My family are long time customers. The standard of food has not changed over the years. The service of the waiters could be improved however, i.e checking what dishes are already on the table before asking, observing what stage of the course we are at mains or dessert and thus offering appropriate dishes, not leaning over seated customers to remove dishes etc.

The food is outstanding and so it’s the service. Very generous portions. One of the best Peking Duck in the area, if not the best. Very good yum cha as well.

My husband and I joined a celebration event of Chinese national holiday in this restaurant. Dishes there were tasty. We especially love their steamed blue cod and the roast duck. Steamed chicken was also delicious and they had great service too. May come back someday again for their duck.
