The food here is absolutely amazing, every dish exploded with flavors in your mouth. The duck omg the best ever.. Awesome service. Had our Christmas work lunch here.

We came to this restaurant for lunch by chance as our usual place was closed. But we were not disappointed. We ordered two simple dishes, Steamed Pork with Preserved Vegetables and Braised Seasonal Vegetables in Broth. Both dishes tasted great. So if your are around this area and like to have some Shanghainese food, I recommend Su Zhe.

This place has the feel of a family retreat. Plain but cleanly decorated, demand is often high in the early evening and at weekend lunch. Clientele is mostly Asian and the cuisine is from Shanghai. The food, frankly, is delicious. We've been eating here for years and it is neither ostentatious nor fussy. But whether the dish is complex or simple, it's almost always highly satisfying and good value. Portions can be large, so be advised! Jessica, the owner, will also gladly adapt dishes to suit, where possible. Highly recommended.
