Big portion Soup of the day was really nice, it was some sort of potato soup. Garlic loaf & garlic butter were great too Too much fries Can't appreciate the beetroot relish in the beef burger but the bun was pretty interesting!
Stumpers had a much nicer feel to it than many places we've been lately. A decent menu range at decent prices. They did make an error with the meal but promptly fixed it which was lovely. The pumpkin soup is quite good, as is the bread and dip platter.Food: 4/5
Enjoyed our pit stop at Stumpers Bar & Cafe. Portion is on the generous side. Was served by friendly crew and we loved the atmosphere. The fish n chips n pizza were great!Food: 3/5
The food was average but I still went back a second time because the service was good and friendly. The chef has great ideas and the concepts are good and fresh but bland, seasoning would make it excellent. Portions and price are good too. Parking: Parking is a bit about luck, on a busy day you might have a 3 - 5 minute walk, on others you could get a parking by the door.
Dog friendly must be on a leash outside. Table's outside were very busy. Walked around the town and came back around the hr, finding a free table outside . The beers were lovely and cold . We ordered a plate of pork ribs salid and chips . The ribs were cooked to perfection . Staff friendly and helpful .
The largest cafe/pub in town with good hot meals and Cafe food. The coffee and beer is good as is the location interior seating and tables. Friendly and helpful staff Vegetarian options: Plenty of options including specialty selection Parking: Lots of free timed parking Wheelchair accessibility: Very good and wide doors. Plenty of room to maneuver within facilities Dietary restrictions: Plenty of GF options
Food portion is huge. 3 dishes for 5 adults and we have to take away the remaining. Definitely best dining experience in Hokitika. Good pork rib and slaw, recommend the Vege platter as well
We had a drink outside before heading off to our next adventure. Lovely service with a smile. Locals are welcoming.Service: 5/5
Sat down for early dinner just after 5pm and had the chicken cajun salad and my partner had the lamb shank. Food and service was good but on the pricier side for what it was, though there weren't many other options in Hokitika on a Sunday night.Food: 4/5
The food would have had 5* but the carrots and beans had been frozen. The rest of the food was excellent and no complaints about the service.Food: 4/5
