Such a lovely stay. Staff did everything they could to make sure we had a lovely experience. They were all so kind and professional. Room was cosy and clean. Electric blankets on the bed and the heater in the room kept us warm. Food was amazing. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for making for a wonderful stay
Rooms comfortable and warm but basic and slightly old fashioned. The staff are super Friendly and professional. Lots of walks even in poor weather. The only downside is that you are a bit out of town if you don't want to eat at the hotel restaurant.
An excellent first experience up here this afternoon. Hadn't been up here before. We stepped in for a coffee before, and again after, a short walk through the bush with family. The big roomy lounge and dining areas were warm and pleasant. A very relaxed vibe. Just what we wanted. Staff were friendly, efficient and homely. And our coffee was great. Recommended!
Dinner only but by far the nicest meal we have had in a long time! Entree and mains were full of flavour, beautifully presented and wonderful staff!
We have had the dinner,bed and breakfast for two deal.nThe service ,and food were excellent,along with our room.nWe walked up to the new bridge on the way to the skifield before breakfast.There was a frost,a beautiful day was starting, and the views were spectacular.nThis is a special place within Taranaki, well worth the Stay.
