Staff members are always lovely and welcoming, so the place has got great energy and atmosphere. Like today, a lady there was really helpful to let us know where to go / what to do. Food is brilliant. I had the warm vegetables salad with lamb. The lamb was soooo tender!!

Beautiful food. The most delicious chicken burger - I devoured it, despite not being super hungry. We got mussels while we had some drinks. They were so good we got the full kg for dinner as well. Wonderful staff and service. Stunning afternoon

Visited for tea last week. Staff didnt even acknowledge us as we walked by the bar twice while deciding where to sit. Ordered drinks and asked if we could do a tab while we looked at menu...'nope..pay as you go' was the response. Food was delivered without a word! Plates collected without a word! Couldn't even ask if we had enjoyed it!! As we were leaving, I stopped to take photos and the waitress walked in front of me twice without a word...so I told her what we thought, and asked her to pass it on to management. Being from the deep south, and have been traveling north island for past 6 weeks. We have never been ignored like that while spending money in a local business!!

Had one of their pizzas buffalo something and I’m pretty sure it was the best pizza of my life. 10/10, no notes. Had a few pints and a couple of games of pool and very much enjoyed ourselves. Great vibes, cool interior, friendly staff, plenty of space. Absolutely worth a visit.

Went there tonight on our last evening in this town. The service was terrible and rude. At one point we nicely asked for more dip and the male server we asked never followed through.nnThe worst part was our food. I am NOT picky but the Margarita pizza i ordered was disgusting. Wherever i am, i often order the Margarita because I’m vegetarian and it never disappoints. Until tonight. It was foul tasting and my husband agreed it was awful. When i privately brought it up with an employee behind the bar she was rude and dismissive, saying “we sell hundreds of them.” Maybe so but that doesn’t mean those who ordered it enjoyed it. This employee made zero effort to make things right and became cold and hostile. Literally it was the worst restaurant food I’ve ever had in my life. I had 3 bites and left the rest. It was inedible so we didn’t even want to take it with us.nnThere were so many ways the employee i spoke to could face handled it better. She did not.nnYou have been warned.
