Hidden gem in town serving Turkish hot and cold food. Seating inside and outside. Had the Turkish salad with chicken and falafel with mint and garlic mayo. Very nice. A few TurkishnSweet and cakes on sale as well. Good price for something different. Parking out side the door in the street. Easy access for wheel chairs and buggies.
The best Turkish restaurant I’ve ever visited in New Zealand! The authentic Turkish flavors made me feel right at home. I highly recommend trying the meze platter, kebab, and stuffed eggplant – absolutely delicious! A must-visit for anyone craving genuine Turkish cuisine.
Amazing Dolma in Authentic Grape leaves. Yummy Falafel & Absolutely the best Kebab I've had in a very long time. Then to finish some tasty Honey & Oat Balls
Solo Turkish Mediterranean Cuisine in Coromandel is a gem. Authentic Turkish flavours, warm hospitality, and a genuine passion for food shine through. The owners, originally from Türkiye, are incredibly welcoming and clearly love what they do.nnI had the falafel on rice with hummus, garlic sauce, chilli sauce, and salad—everything was spot on. The falafel was homemade and full of flavour, the pilav perfectly cooked, and the balance of sauces and salad made for a fantastic meal. We also had baklava, which was beautifully fresh and the perfect sweet finish.nnI love the Turkish decor on the walls, and the TV playing videos of Turkish pastry being rolled out was a nice touch—it added to the atmosphere and made the experience feel even more authentic.nnI’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Coromandel. Ellerinize sağlık!
Authentic and the best baklava I've ever had. Serious choice of baklava heaven.nWe had a lamb and a chicken on rich dish, it was beautiful and fresh. I loved the open kitchen and fresh produce in the Window. We walked though Coromandel town, and this was the only restaurant with fresh, authentic food that wasn't made in a kitchen hidden away.nHighly recommended when traveling through, and get a slice or two of baklava
