Its actually very reasonable to stay, front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Lodge beds are not so comfortable. However they got some good greenery around with some friendly Eel

We stayed over Easter wkend and found Spring Creek a clean park very friendly staff and lovely grounds.
Cool place right by the river and in the midst of wine country. Helpful staff and a direct run to the Picton ferry. Even have pet eels
Sorry to say we were very disappointed with presentation and amenities and would not recommend to anyone. Out of the 10 cabins we have stayed in in South Island, this was by far the worst. Grossly over priced for what we received.
New management. Lovely clean and peaceful place , handy to all sorts of activities. Definitely a return visit
