Always a bit of a treasure trove here and can easily spend hours browsing the aisles. Good specials but disappointing to find so many patterns out of stock.
A+++ Customer Service. Fiona and Deboragh were extremely helpful and knowledgeable on products in store. Fiona gave me advice on sewing machines, needles and cottons which was super helpful Deboragh served me, assisting me with a query I had. HUGE thanks to the friendly ladies at Spotlight in Whangarei.
Majority of the time I come here I’m always served by some rude old person who has clearly way done their time. Which is unfortunate because spotlight offers really cool crafts but to be meet with rudeness when I’m the one paying money and you choose to work there is just bonkers. I get work is hard but if I’m not being rude neither should you. I hope for 2026 the old spotlight workers fix their attitude and take some notes from the younger people who work there that are kind.
Have more bad service than good here.. always feel like afew staff a very unhelpful and just wont help. other than that it has everything other spotlights have
I had such a great experience at Spotlight Whangarei, All the staff were very friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful from the moment I walked in. It’s rare to come across a team where everyone is so welcoming and attentive. They made sure I found what I needed and offered assistance without being pushy. Thank you for the excellent customer service, I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending your store to others!
