I used to frequent this place often over 10 years ago. Now I'm back in the bay my wife and I decided to get a couple of curries. We we're both very pleased with our meals. Good flavor and tasted like fully natural curries no coloring and not overly sweet. Meat was cooked perfectly as well. Thanks Spices! I want to do a 4.5 but it won't let me!
Bad, just bad. If you look up onion bhajis on the internet, you'll see how they're supposed to be. These were just curried onion rings. Chicken tikka was on the menu as boneless, but consisted of wings, thighs, etc. Complained, they weren't interested. Rice was dry. I've eaten a lot of curries over the years and this was some of the worst.
This place is more like a takeaway with seating, than a restaurant. During the course of our meal, nobody else sat to eat a meal, but almost a dozen people came in to collect takeaway phone orders. The staff are friendly and were happy to put the heater on when we asked for them to do so.
I can't recommend the $21 platter for 2. Worse samosas I've ever had and the rest was dry and uninteresting. Very nice lamb dish that was a special but the bean and lentil dish not good. Nice garli naan
Delicious food we had prawn madras & lamb madras and garlic naan great value & so very tasty
