Food was great, and the customer service was exceptional. My toddler had a huge tantrum resulting in me needing to take him outside, so when I got back the chef came out from the kitchen and asked if I wanted any food heated up. Both of the staff interacted with my children in a warm and friendly manner, which wasn’t easy because they were overtired and hungry. Also I can only speak to my experience but all of the staff had beautiful smiles, not that they owed us one.
I ordered masala dosa as takeaway this is the second time I had same experience and both time they gave a very less masala and very badly cooked dosa so hard it has disappointed me a lot, when I went for dine in then they serve a better qty but not for takeaways. Very bad experience and this is my last time I ordered something with them.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Worst curry I have ever had! They gave us the wrong order I returned it & they still didn’t get the second order right. It was so hot that no one could eat it & we chucked away $65 worth of curry! Tried to reach out to management on Facebook no reply just left on seen! Really bad customer service Don’t waste your time or money going here!!!! Really disappointed!!!!!
The absolute best Butter Chicken in Tauranga, fat naan bread too. 100% recommended . 10/10
Food is good but the staff are not customer friendly
We highly anticipated coming here and did not disappoint. Friendly and attentive staff. Very quick service, we were eating within 5 minutes of walking in. Delicious meals, I had the 'kiwi mild' butter chicken which was not hot at all and sweet, husband had 'indian mild' which had a little spice and was creamy, I recommend the Garlic Naan. Large portions left us stuffed. And the price is amazing.

It's my first time to eat in their restaurant. The venue is nice. So these are my observations and my first time to try Masala Dosa. Most of us ordered the Masala Dosa. I was happy and the taste was good. I love the dipping sauce and the lentil soup. However, some of my companions did not really enjoyed the other food variety they have ordered. I could not say that the venue was busy, however, I noticed the person who takes and serve food seems like to work for the sake of working and getting the work done. It would be nice if even tired, must learn how to smile. The staff did serve the food well. I guess every restaurant I have eaten has their own flaws on how to serve their customer in a smiley manner. I would not mind to come here and only eat food ONLY if I am invited. But solo? Nah, the atmosphere would change from happy to gloomy. Thus, my suggestion work with passion and not just for the sake of working and completing your job. Value your customers by good greetings as well and you will make the mood of your customers happy.
One of the best restaurants in tauranga.. Amazing food with authentic Indian touch. Prices are reasonable. Well maintained place with super friendly staff. Goat biriyani is one of the must tries.. packed with spices. Good place for family and friends catchup.
