Last week, I visited Upper Hutt. When I was driving past Trentham Memorial Park, saw an Indian takeaway shop on my way back home. There, I ordered takeaway course dishes and had a samosa chat . Taste was irresistible and mouth-watering. The staff there were super friendly and polite. They have also asked me what else you would like to eat in Indian food. It displayed that they are open to customer suggestions and always ready to cater to their needs. Furthermore, takeaways I brought home were super delicious. I would highly recommend this Indian restaurant to anyone who is craving Indian cuisine. Overall, positive vibes.
This's one of the best Indian restaurants we have tried so far in Wellington. We have ordered tandoori chicken and chicken tikka last week. It was cooked to perfection, mouthwatering and tender to the core. The restaurant owner is very polite and friendly. We would recommend it to anyone who craves for Indian cuisine.
Thought I would try this place again based on recent reviews. Might give it another shot to try different dishes but personally the butter chicken wasn’t for me, wasn’t bad but was quite oily and kind of tasted like spicy tomato soup? Coconut rice was nice but again it was oily. My husband got a garlic naan which seemed to have very little garlic butter on it, he said it seemed closer to plain naan.nService was good, food was hot and ready on time
Thought I would give Spice kitchen a try I usually go to Ammu but wanted to try a new place and have seen some good reviews. food arrived pretty fast but one Butter chicken wasn't the right spice level that I ordered X1 Medium instead got two very mild and pretty bland Butter chickens. Also got a garlic naan and a cheesy garlic naan cheesy garlic was more expensive out of the two but was smaller not to sure why when your paying more. Looked like there was charcoal on the bottom of one didn't really want to bite into that either. Not really worth the money I think I'll stick to the usual spot for next time
My husband and I are regulars at Spice Kitchen, and we can’t recommend it enough! Their butter chicken and tikka masala are always perfectly cooked—rich, flavorful, and full of the authentic taste we love. The portions are generous, and the quality is consistently excellent. Whether we’re craving a comforting meal or something to brighten our day, Spice and Kitchen never disappoints. Fast, friendly service and delicious food every time—highly recommend!
