The food was decent, but the cheeseburger was quite literally just cheese and a patty. The ale was good though! The location is perfect for a quick bite while waiting for a train, as it's right in front of the station.
A good looking traditional ale house, got all the bells and whistle’s you’d expect a traditional looking ale house to have. The beer was good as expected but the food didn’t quite match the quality of the vibes. The steak sandwich was a little tough and the risotto was good without being great. But overall a good place to grab a beer and a bite before you’re on to the next adventure.
Fantastic food! Great friendly service. Good value. Thanks for having an amazing vegan option. So fresh and tasty.

Always a good meal at Speights!nGreat service from the owners, they’re amazing to their customers & go the extra mile!nThe food is always delicious, they have lots of options to suit all tastes and ingredients are fresh. A great selection of Speights beers and cider on tap along with a variety of other options in their fridge. An outside table on a sunny day just adds to it all.
