Specsavers Glenfield does a great job of taking care of my 4 minor children with annual checks. They are gently with the kids, incredibly thorough, explain things well, and don't push for new glasses or frames unless absolutely necessary.
Writing on behalf of my partner, Glenfield Specsavers has beyond amazing service. The staff were kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. Their hours are especially helpful if you need an appointment in the evening after work as we did.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The eye test was very detailed, everything was explained to me and all my questions were answered. Highly recommend
I've been going here for several years now, and have had many pairs of glasses and reasonably positive experience, not enough for me to do a 5* review but certainly good enough for me not to do a negative one, until now, I'd say a 2.5 not a 3 so I've gone 2. I have just had a contact lens training session I'd say exam given my experience - a driving test has been more pleasant. This is a staff training issue, the staff member was courteous but not well trained, and didn't seem to know how to deal with the situation except tell me the rules and remind me of the clock, and very quickly I was in a race against time to get this right, without very much instruction and constant reminder of the ticking clock. In the end I left without the contacts. I've now gone elsewhere another retailer and won't return here. I have gone on your website and you have loads of videos and resources that give me instruction on inserting lenses that is 10 times more informative than the really light in person instruction I got. My bad for not checking online first, I should have know better, and in reality Specsavers, you should have pointed me at that first before the appointment.
I needed a new pair of glasses and a pair fixed. Seeing as I was going to buy a pair, it was suggested I find a pair the same shape as my broken ones. Guided me towards a nice frame for my new pair, Bob's your Uncle. Optometrist was great.
Good team operating who saw me promptly and carried out their duties very professionally. The people working here are friendly, courteous and professional. This team are my Specsavers of choice.
The best optometrist I ever had. She was so gentle, caring and most importantly did not look at me as a client but as a human who needs her care.
Usually very good & friendly store, but my regular lady has now gone, The eye test was still very good but after this, the new girl kept looking at her watch, 4, 5, 6x as I was going through my frame choices. She seemed uninterested & I felt rushed. The male staff are more interested in chatting & profit than getting my prescription right, telling me to 'get used to it' even when I clearly stated they were not right! I won't be back.
