What a fantastic place to stay! The South Pacific Motel is a real gem in Whangamatā. The rooms are spotless, comfortable and beautifully presented, and the tropical gardens create such a relaxing holiday atmosphere.nOne of the standout features is the conference room and courtyard area where we had a corporate training session, mixing business with pleasure. The conference facilities are modern, spacious and were perfect for our training event and pre dinner drinks. The adjoining courtyard bar area is an absolute highlight, creating a wonderful space to relax, socialise and enjoy a drink after a productive day.nThe hosts, Carly and KB, go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality shine through in every aspect of the business.nThe location is excellent – close to town, the beach, shops and restaurants – yet peaceful enough to feel like a true getaway.nWhether you're visiting for business, a conference, a special event or a beach holiday, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the South Pacific Motel. We'll definitely be back! We absolutely loved it!!!!
nnWe had an amazing couple of nights at the South Pacific Motel and Conference Centre and will definitely be back again.nnCarly and KB were fantastic hosts – friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had all the facilities you could need for a relaxing stay.nnThe spa pool was absolutely wonderful. It was the perfect place to unwind in the early evening after a day out, and we really enjoyed spending time there.nnThe conference centre facilities were excellent and provided a great space for us to catch up with friends. The location is also fantastic, being close to all the local amenities, shops, and plenty of food options.nnA great place to stay with outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended!
Had a fab long weekend with a group of friends, we had rooms together and opened into a private courtyard where we enjoyed afternoon platters and drinks, plus morning coffees. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and beds and bedding super comfy. We especially enjoyed the friendly relaxed vibe, the owners are great, gave us plenty of local knowledge on dining spots, walks and happenings over the weekend. Perfect location for dining, shops and beach, we enjoyed the daily strolls and didnt use our car once we had parked up. Will definitely be coming back!
Awesome spot and facilities. The owners were so lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. They gave the place such a great vibe. Clean rooms and great size. Ours was unit 5 and would book again. Loved their dog too.
Stayed here in mid-November. Location is great to walk into the more lively parts of town and also to the beaches. Carly and KB were wonderful hosts and easily moved my reservation forward a week. Our twin studio had everything we needed, except a small freezer as part of the fridge unit, but our gracious hosts happily allowed us to use a full sized fridge in the conference building.
