Awesome, clean,spacious and quiet night we stayed. Comfy bed, good pressure on shower. Staff great. Close to town. Brilliant outdoor activities wish we had more time to use. Great place for families or 2 msture sisters like us. Thanks Palm Pacific. Well be back.
We booked two apartments. One for our daughter and our twin teenager granddaughters and one for us and our teenage grandson. Wonderful location and amenities with pool, tennis courts and a huge laundry etc for familiesnHowever the apartments are individually owned and there is a huge range in the quality of the apartments. Our apartment 26 is very mediocre and in need of a refurbishment,, particularly in the bathroom and scant kitchen utensils. Vague noise from the pub. The other apartment we booked was 21 and much better equipped in the kitchen. We looked in at other apartments and saw that some are very nicely furnished and more upmarket but empty so we wondered why we were given one apartment which was inferior.
My daughter and I stayed Thursday and Friday night in unit 19, it was clean and tidy with very comfortable beds. We found location was absolutely perfect and quiet! The management and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the attractions and events happening in WHANGAMATA! I personally would recommend The Palm Pacific resort and motel to discerning travellers to stay here! Hassle free with nice tennis court, pool area and pentque court!nArthur C.
