We discuss the 'goings on' in our night sky, local and worldwide. We often have slideshows and presentations about a very wide range of astronomy topics.
Our members are very friendly and you will always recieve a warm welcome.
We are incorporating the observatory (Located at the Southland Museum & Art Gallery) into the page also so we can give you any new details, updates and share photos, information etc.
While the observatory is closed during daylight savings period we are updating information within the observatory. We strive to cater for everyone from small chiildren to adults.
We will share changes made in the observatory as we complete them and advise of when it will be re-opening and times etc
The purpose of this page is for us to update you about sky events and be able to interact with all of you keen sky observors more often and efficently.
