Invercargill Public Art Gallery is responsible for the care, collection and curation of Invercargill’s art collection. It changed its name back from Anderson Park Art Gallery to Invercargill Public Art Gallery in June 2016.
The gallery has built a comprehensive collection of visual and applied arts that includes early European through to contemporary New Zealand art. There is a strong representation of local artists and artworks relating to Southland.
We are currently exhibiting at our pop-up exhibition space at 5 Don Street, central Invercargill. Free entry.
