The most beautiful venue, it exceeded every Pinterest board idea and dream we had talked about!! Had our wedding here a couple of weeks ago and it was stunning. The gardens are breathtaking and our guests were so happy to be there!nSo many good options for photos we got lots around the venue and also Matheson bay which is so close. Also lots of good places to visit and stay around the area for guests.nnEverything ran so smoothly and Katherine and Adam were INCREDIBLY helpful and present throughout the planning. They helped us with vendors and gave us advice on everything.nWe stayed at the cottage and it was so beautiful.nI’ve never wanted to recommend a place so badly!!!
Amazing space for a wedding- from ceremony, cocktail hour to reception- no need to leave! The cottage is stunning to get ready in and stay the night in after as newlyweds. Adam and Katherine are amazing to got deal with. Highly recommend!!!

Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel confident that our special day was in good hands. The natural beauty of the surroundings, combined with the stunning flora and landscaping made for a picture-perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. We appreciated the flexibility they offered in creating a customized experience that perfectly matched our vision. The day was seamless and unforgettable, thanks in no small part to Katherine and Adam's expert guidance and support. We wholeheartedly recommend Songbird Retreat to anyone looking for a thoughtful, personalized wedding experience in a breathtaking setting.
We are Auckland bred but currently based in London, and were thrilled to find this beautifully thought out English garden down the road from Leigh. The garden has been purpose built, so while it felt like you were getting married in a family friend's perfect backyard, the practical details water, electricity, plugs, parking, footpaths were all taken care of in a way that made the day seamless. Adam and Katherine were a pleasure to deal with, and Adam was on hand the whole day to make sure everything ran according to plan. We turned up, got married, and had a bubble bath outside to finish the night. Couldn't have asked for more!
