Soleil Terrace Apricot Orchard is situated two minutes south of scenic Amberley -just a short drive north of Christchurch.We are a rarity as we are one of only a couple of apricot orchards in North Canterbury.Our apricot season is predominantly during the month of January when it is hot enough to naturally ripen the fruit on the trees. We do not pick when the fruit is unripe as we believe that apricots do not ripen well once off the tree- which you may have experienced with supermarket fruit. We invite you to taste the difference-ripe fresh apricots should be sweet and juicy. We offer our customers the opportunity to pick their own delicious apricots, or buy them ready bagged -perfect for eating fresh, making into jam or freezing for later use for desserts, cocktails etc.
