My first skydive ever and I was incredibly nervous. The professionalism I experienced here was the main reason why I felt very well looked after at all times.nnAt check-in, Ben & Jo spread positive vibes and guided me well through the process. Great service and follow-up when my footage wouldn’t make its way to my email inbox. Big thanks to Ben for his efforts and quick solutions! :nnMy personal hero is Hamish, with whom I went in tandem. He is highly professional, equally emphatic and humorous and communicates at a great level. He always kept me well informed about what was going on or what was going to happen next and, depending on the situation, either eased my tension with a joke or allayed my fears with his expertise and confidence. I felt completely safe with him, which was the main reason why I had the best time ever and was able to enjoy the skydive and gorgeous views! A big thank you to the whole team and especially to Hamish for making this experience memorable in the best possible way!
From the moment i turned up and checked in friendly staff, And Crew all very welcoming! Got to watch a few jumps! Until it was time to gear up and have a induction and get ready to get on the plane! Amazing views all round up to your altitude! Then the real fun begins! Damien was my Tandem Master who was super cool and made the experience awesome! This was my frist time skydiving I felt right in my element and will be doing this again for sure!
Thank you so much to all the team at Skydive Abel Tasman for an amazing first skydive, especially to my tandem guy Steve! A bucket list moment I'll never forget after jumping 18,000ft, the highest skydive in NZ! Still can't stop talking about it! Nothing stopping me now, will defo skydive again!
After a few re-books due to unfortunate weather, the day finally arrived for our son to make his first jump! We arrived to a stunning Motueka day, minimal wind & clear blue skies. The check in process was a breeze with Benjamins assistance...then we waited...and waited...unfortunately due to low cloud earlier in the day, a backlog had ensued...but the wait was ok with the ease of wandering across the carpark to get refreshments at the on-site cafe yummy toasted sandwiches & coffee! Then his turn arrived & up he went! Damien was hooked up to our son, he made it such a great experience for him. Thanks team! 4.5
I would give this amazing crew 10 stars if I could!!!!!nEveryone, and I mean EVERYONE at this facility was just so nice, kind, helpful, positive and bubbly. I would skydive here again just to talk with Ben some more! The plane was clean and sturdy, the instructions were clear and concise, the staff was confident, well informed, and communicated every detail every step of the way.nRod took me on my jump, and he was an amazing guide; pointing out all the local landmarks and giving fun facts about the landscape as we floated down.nnMy amazing camerawoman, forgive me for forgetting her name! She was so helpful in coaching me for the best shots for my video.nnThis was truly a great experience, and I recommend it to YOU and everyone Else interested in a sky adventure in New Zealand.
