Our clothes were stolen from one of the large dryers in Motueka yesterday. I called Liquid Laundromat at the time and so far no response. I was not sitting in the laundromat watching the machine as it's extremely noisy in there and the seating provided makes a police cell look luxurious. This makes 'not leaving your washing unattended' fairly unpleasant which is why I was standing outside or in the car parked outside or in the neighbouring premises at the time which is what most people seem to do rather than sit inside. Liquid Laundromat's terms printed on the wall state they're not responsible in this scenario but they certainly make it very easy for anyone to steal a load of washing from a dryer by not having any sort of lock while they have locks on the washing machines and they make it impractical, uncomfortable and I suspect unhealthy to sit and monitor your own washing. There appears to be a video camera but I suspect that's more about protecting their own property rather than their customer's.nnI may revise this review if/when I receive a response from Liquid Laundromat.
Every drier has some old chewing gum or burnt something-or-other on the inside. Clearly not maintaned as often as the other liquid laundromats. Tiny space for folding clothes and the washers and dryers are not in the same building.
Always open, always neat and tidy.nNot sure what the chances are of actually getting a hot wash during a busy period.
Nice and clean all machines working and everything great
Cannot use coins nor card. Must use their special card but there wasn't any so had to go elsewhere.
