Came here to get some lunch. I ordered the beef burger which was very good and made with good quality beef. The portions of the burger was also very good.Food: 5/5
We were greeted by smiling friendly staff who seemed to work as a great team. Kokako coffee, nice blocks and a well stocked drinks fridge is a recipe for success. I have some constructive criticism. I was concerned about the price of the chicken sandwich. when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised about the portion size and it was delicious. I think the menu doesn’t “sell” the food well and we nearly went elsewhere. I would be excited to pay $24 for “toasted ciabatta, topped with a generous helping of grilled chicken, halloumi and house made asian slaw” etc… the staff might also benefit from a little training so they can feel more confident and proactive when things go wrong, then they can offer great solutions like cleaning up a mess without the customer asking.
I got the avo smash but with tofu and gf bread. The tofu was straight from the packet - no seasoning nothing - and crumbled on top - absolutely disgusting. This was on a pile of raw, unseasoned kale and accompanied by a dollop of avocado where the only flavour involved was the raw red onion. To top it off the bread wasn’t even toasted, just stale and crumbly. Not even hot sauce could save it. Coffee was mean and pretty quick but cost an arm and a leg. Blandest brunch I’ve ever encountered Vegetarian options: Below average and not at all worth the extra 3 dollars I paid to replace the egg with unseasoned, plain, raw tofu Dietary restrictions: GF bread was expensive and untoasted - had clearly just been talked out of the fridge, super crumbly
Service isn’t great. Ordered 2 frappes that tasted like nothing and could easily make a much better one at home for a quarter of the price. they were $9.50 and weren’t anything special. definitely expected better
Lovely people, great range of food and everything I tried was delicious and I was still left getting fomo of others meals. Favourite cafe in the area.
Great cafe! Four of us had brunch here and all loved our meals! Perfectly poached eggs, great amount of bacon and avo. Lovely coffee too. Always a favourite when we are in town.
Sorry to say our experience at Six Forty Six Cafe this week was no where near as good as it was two years ago. It was over priced, the smoothies luke warm and lacking flavour as was the coffee and GF quiche.Food: 2/5
Terrible experience. Waited 1.5 hr for food that never arrived. Staff given us conflicting messages about the wait time. Lack of transparency and clear communication. Left hungry, annoyed and late for the next activity we’ve planned. I don’t recommend that place at all.
What a lovely atmosphere they have. Staff are professional. Sandwiches are in the fridge to let you choose. The burgers are big and I love it! Crunchy and aroma. Park your car in front. Easy! Recommend!
Not a very nice breakfast at all. Tofu eggs are really bland. Toast and mushrooms are burnt and the rosti and beans are really cold. Cheese scone very dense and bitter rock hard. Unable to be used. The coffee was good. I wanted to notify the staff but it’s clear with the “no moan” sign that they are not open to feedback. It
