Had great experience with urgent care yesterday. Staff at the reception were super nice and polite. The nurse was lovely as well and the doctor that saw me was efficient and gave me good advice. Was in and out pretty quickly
Appalling! Website says urgent care just call in! I was extremely ill on returning home from a bali trip. I was told it would cost $215 dollars to see a doctor. After waiting over 2 hours feeling miserable I approached reception to find out my place in the queue. At least another hour they said! I had no warning of this wait time at all, I ended up leaving feeling much worse than when I arrived. Avoid at all costs, I was not updated during my wait, nobody asked if I was OK, no water to drink no explanation or empathy at all. And, astronomical prices. You are better off going to the hospital if you require urgent care.
I want to complain to your front desk. I had an appointment with a family doctor at 8:30 this morning. I arrived on time and told her my name and the doctor I was scheduled for. She asked me if it was an accident, and I said no, and she asked me to sit down and wait for the doctor. It wasn't until 9:15 that a girl at the front desk said she forgot to sign me in, so I couldn't see the doctor! I have been discriminated against more than once! I am so sad to be discriminated against when I am sick!
Wife was enrolled. Called to make appointment. They had just decided to unenroll her. No notice. No letter. No explanation.nnWould expect more from medical professionals but I guess they care more about money than patients.nnReceptionist is very short toned and incompetent. Couldn't even advise what gp she used to be registered under.nnIf you're after a gp that cares about your family, stay well away from this one.
Despite the many negative reviews, my experience was very different and 100% positive - I got an appointment within 2 hours, had no time to wait and the doctor who treated me was professional, caring and super-friendly. From the first phone contact on, the everybody was extremely nice and welcoming. As though the prices are a bit higher, I’m willing to pay good money for my health-care. I was positively surprised that they told me the price for a one-time-visit as a foreign tourist at the phone, so I was already informed beforehand and could choose another medical center if I want. But I’m happy that I chooses the Silverdale Medical and I can recommend it!nThanks to the whole team!
