Had great experience with urgent care yesterday. Staff at the reception were super nice and polite. The nurse was lovely as well and the doctor that saw me was efficient and gave me good advice. Was in and out pretty quickly
Appalling! Website says urgent care just call in! I was extremely ill on returning home from a bali trip. I was told it would cost $215 dollars to see a doctor. After waiting over 2 hours feeling miserable I approached reception to find out my place in the queue. At least another hour they said! I had no warning of this wait time at all, I ended up leaving feeling much worse than when I arrived. Avoid at all costs, I was not updated during my wait, nobody asked if I was OK, no water to drink no explanation or empathy at all. And, astronomical prices. You are better off going to the hospital if you require urgent care.
I want to complain to your front desk. I had an appointment with a family doctor at 8:30 this morning. I arrived on time and told her my name and the doctor I was scheduled for. She asked me if it was an accident, and I said no, and she asked me to sit down and wait for the doctor. It wasn't until 9:15 that a girl at the front desk said she forgot to sign me in, so I couldn't see the doctor! I have been discriminated against more than once! I am so sad to be discriminated against when I am sick!
Children seen for free EXCEPT when an urgent medical appointment is needed. Options are wait 5 days for next available appointment with that timeframe she'll either be cured or dead or spend $51.50 to go through the urgent care side of things to be seen on the same day. Absolute insanity, clearly the bottom line trumps patient welfare. I cannot name a single other gp practice that charges a premium for children to be seen by the duty doctor
Absolutely shocking service. My mother in law had just come out of hospital and developed an awful med condition. She waited for hours with many people going on before her with very minor med issues. The staff was rude and couldn’t give any information on when she would be seen. Might as well have gone back to the hospital would have been quicker. Pathetic for the price you pay for urgent care.
