Some friends and I were craving something spicy, so we decided to visit this place for lunch while we were in Hamilton. It turned out to be a really solid choice, and I’m glad we went.nnThe noodle dishes we had were particularly impressive, with generous portions of both meat and noodles. The soup and broth were rich and full of flavour, making for a satisfying meal. The spice level here was no joke—if you’re looking for real heat, this place will definitely deliver! The spicy chicken, a classic dish, was another highlight. It had bold flavours and was perfect for sharing, especially if you’re dining with a large group.nnThe standout for me was the beef noodle soup, which had a deep, savoury richness that paired perfectly with the heat. It complemented the spicy chicken beautifully, rounding out the meal.nnSimple, easy, and delicious—just how it should be.
A lots of customer in Friday night.nservicing was fast. The portion is large. So it is worth the value.nYou can choose how spice you like, food was tasty. Will come back if pass Hamilton next time.
Disappointing Experience at This RestaurantnnAs a regular customer, having visited seven times in the last three weeks, I was shocked by the poor service and food quality today. Our noodles were undercooked, and when we requested a replacement, the front-of-house staff seemed put off, lacking even a basic smile.nnThe second serving of noodles was of extremely low quality, with only three small pieces of chicken and very few vegetables. We paid approximately $80 for three noodles, including holiday tax.nnConsidering that two of us opted for takeaway and I left my plate unfinished, eating less than half of it, the experience fell far short of our expectations. Compared to previous visits, I would give today's service a 1-star rating.nnThe front-of-house staff's attitude was dismissive, please remember we are not asking for free food. When food is not cooked properly, any customer would reasonably request a replacement. Instead of providing a satisfactory replacement, they seemed to be reducing the quality and quantity.nnTreating customers with such disregard is unacceptable.
A little hit and miss with dishes. Sizzling eggplant with pork mince was very good 5/5, texture was great, flavour wasn't as good as fragrant fish eggplant from some other places but that was likely because we chose this specific dish wanting to try something different, would happily try the other eggplant dish next time. Prawn fried rice was bad and nothing special 1.5/5. Would try white rice next time. Mapo tofu was bad, unmemorable and mostly left over 1.5/5. Spicy fish fillet with bean sprouts was good, and a very large portion 5/5, we also had a chicken dish which had noodles in it. Was ok. Noodles was bad. Mostly left over, large portion. 2.5/5. Would recommend but really depends on the dishes ordered. Btw 3 dishes would be more than enough for 4. Don't order 5 like we did. Barely fit on the table.
Can you handle num and spicy?, this is the place, all foods are authentic and delicious.
