Fantastic spot, great ambience, attentive and quick service. Food was really good, a must try if you're in Orewa. Will be back when it's sunny outside to take in the great views and local scene.Food: 5/5

Shoreward is a beautiful spot right on the beachfront, seating with reserve and ocean views outside and the menu had plenty of options to suit all. Kids menu is awesome too, they have a fruit, cheese & vege platter option which is rare for kid menus! They also have awesome frozen drink options with Frosè, spiced rum and pineapple and sour berry my favourite! The Owner allowed us to sample all without us having to ask which was kind! Service was absolutely lovely... all doors were held open for us including the bathroom! Very happy with our choice!!! Thank you guys!! Will be back soon!!

One of our favorite spots in Orewa. The sticky chicken starter is beyond delicious, we order it every time we're there. I'd love it if they'd add it as a main with some rice! The Meatlovers Pizza was probably the best pizza I've ever had, even reheated 3 days later, it was better than most other pizzas I've ordered anywhere. The meats were super quality and so tasty. Lastly, we highly recommend the Loaded Fries. Lots of people whinge about the lack of coffee/tea service in the afternoon/evening. We don't drink either so doesn't matter to us, but I will say their soft drinks are nasty. Flat post-mix that doesn't taste at all like Coke, must be using some knockoff mix. I wish they'd just serve bottles/cans of Coke products, would be much happier.

Absolutely the best service from the 3 young ladies that served us today. We were there around 5pm -6pm, fast friendly service, saw our needs and catered to us without us asking, perfect customer service . Ohhhh and then the food, BEST Food out, 10 out of 10. Every component was delicious and well put together, jus stunning, amazing flavours Compliments to the Chef and team at Shoreward Orewa, we will definitely be singing your praises to our friends and family.

Most of the menu was not available. Asked for a lemonade, received a sprite. Ordered chips with aioli and received giant potato wedges. The waitress said that she gave me lemonade and that is all they have from the tap and that the ‘chips’ are just larger than normal. They were clearly potato wedges. If you don’t have the food available, you should let your customers know and not just lie and force them to have whatever you have left in your kitchen. This was our first time here and it was very disappointing. A different waitress came up and tried to take our friends desert even though they were clearly not finished yet. Would not recommend and will not be returning. The potato wedges were horrible and undercooked for how tick they were. I also don't understand why you can't serve coffee at 3:30pm?

Best chips I've ever had! Pork ones. Understaffed night though so long waiting times. The atmosphere is ok, nothing special. Nice restroom though.

Many reasons why this is a 1 star disappointing experience, was going to do the run down but honestly not worth the additional energy. Let’s just say the recent lower star ratings are most accurate. Something changed from our last experience…Ste front house and other staff lack a lot of professionalism and need a rethink on what hospitality actually means… and what accountability IS! Most definitely is the last visit to this place. My advice save your $$ and go to your local pub instead. Over 4% credit card surcharge here too.

Worst pizza I've ever had. For $26 you get a big bread, no tomate, painted with a liiiitle very little of cheese, it just tastes like bread. The atmosphere is cool but the pizza is a complete scam. There are much better places in Orewa, don't come here.Food: 1/5
