I bought Chicken Biriyani take away for my partner and she found a fly. Don’t buy anything from here.
I used to work in the mall and ordered their meal atleast once a week. I left the job 2 months ago thought of coming in for a curry since the weather had changed and its getting cold lately. Their curry still as good but im very disappointed with their serving size. They curry is now served in a disposable plastic bowl only half of what i had in the past with no more than 4 pieces of meat in them.
I always get Indian when I visit the mall, and have gone to Shamiana for years. However, I visited at 11.30am and was sorely disappointed to be served rice that was cold and set in clumps. I assume it had been there for quite some time. The rest of the meal was quite enjoyable, and the staff were incredibly friendly as always.Food: 4/5
Terrible curry Could taste the sugar Probably made for kids .3 pieces of chicken a ton of greasy creamy sauce. Not great team. Come on do you want to retain customers??
Disappointed by Naan quality. Naans are being heated with hot light instead of given to their customers *fresh* from tandoori. Please stop pre-heating them.Food: 1/5
Had the most horrible experiance on Thursday night got takeaway naan was cold and rubbery and the lamb was salty the server was rude no customer service skills looked like she had bad day and just HAD ENOUGH. very rude and food was not up standard i did pay for it not worth it................... I DID NOT WANT TO GIVE ANY STARS
Not a first time I had a meal here and unfortunately this one was worse than last one. The curry had odd, grainy texture and was average. Previously I had beef madras and was excellent. Sadly, something has changed. Service staff was ok. I may come here again but it won't be soon.
The curry was served in a plastic bowl slopped onto the tray, no attempt to clean the tray or redo, the manager watching this was unapolegtic. If they don't care front of house what goes on at the back
Went there tday..Indian girl serving very rude and wld not listen to what I was asking..she forgets we are paying her wages..29.4.23. 3pm..
Very unhelpful staff. Just paid $18 for a combo butter chicken. Once the rice had soaked up all the sauce I wanted to pay for a little more sauce. No chicken just sauce. They were about to close for the night I was the last customer and first they said could only sell a std meal at $13 then it was $10 for a little sauce. Not smart service as far as I am concerned. Wouldn't return for this reaaon.
