First time at this fantastic Restaurant.,and will most definitely be back....!!! Superb food....,beautiful surroundings....,spotlessly clean and amazingly friendly.,courteous and attentive staff... The wait for the food was perfectly timed too.. A MUST visit restaurant which is sure to become a regular for us.... Without hesitation Five stars.....!! Highly recommended... BG Wells.
We tried kohinoor last night, really relaxing restaurant, the staff are really friendly and the food is great. Also more reasonably priced than most other Indian restaurants. Looking forward to coming back!
Visited 07/01/2023, eldest had made reservation and when arrived table was ready with pre requested high chair for granddaughter, excellent start. Drinks order taken, I would say out of the Lassi yoghurt drinks that the Mango is the one to go for, they do it by the glass no jug option as is done elsewhere so as to share/try. We were offered Poppadoms to start, very nice way to start the meal off. They were out of stock of the popular chicken samosas so the mixed grill starter came with vegetable samosas, which were ok. The chicken pakoras were quickly gone and were well received. When it came to the mains for those who know me know I do rate a place based in its Keema Aloo Matar dish, this wasn’t on the menu but a quick ask and this was easily catered for and done with no fuss, absolute class service and execution of the dish too the naans both garlic and the Keema versions were tasty, the portions of the dishes are very healthy including the mix grill tandoori main, instead of naan ordered some chips to go with and they were also tasty. Would highly recommend making a visit to the Kohinoor, I’d say this beats the Jharna on Lisburn Road and will be a go to for the future. The place was very busy and the team looked after everyone who was in, including those coming in to pick up phone orders or coming in to order to take home
Just home from Kohinoor Indian restaurant Lisburn where my wife and I celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary with a delicious meal. We trying it for the first time and I can tell you that won't be the last time. Service was excellent and very friendly from the moment we entered until we left over an hour later. The food was excellent and you get plenty of it. The restaurant was spotless and very comfortable. The menu was very comprehensive and if you weren't sure what to have the staff can help you decide. I want to thank everyone who works in the restaurant for making our anniversary meal so special and we will be back. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. John and Karen Vegetarian options: There appears to be a lot of choices on the menu. Kid-friendliness: I can't see why it would not be suitable for children. Wheelchair accessibility: It looks like there would be room for wheelchairs to move around. Dietary restrictions: They will prepare your meal to suit your needs.
First time eating here. Food was absolutely lovely and the service was great. Got a mixed grill and wow it was so good. Very busy and we did wait a bit before our food was ready but it was cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. The place was busy as it was around December but food was worth the wait. 1st time in this Indian restaurant and it was a total pleasure from start to finish. Spotlessly clean and the food was delicious. Staff and service are first class. Can't wait to return. Without a doubt the best Indian restaurant in Lisburn. Extremely great value 10/10

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish!!! Food excellent.. Restaurant itself was sparkling clean. The stand out thing about this restaurant are the staff... Pleasant, civil and fantastic at what they do. Both restaurant and staff are a credit to the owner. Makes such a difference going into a restaurant and the staff actually being friendly. The guy that took our order was first class at his job. Will be back!!!!!!
We recently visited here on the recommendation of a couple of friends who accompanied us. My wife and I had the best meal we can remember at an Indian restaurant, really delicious I could not fault my lamb rogan josh. Very friendly, relaxing atmosphere, we will be back.

From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the friendly staff, who made us feel right at home. The menu offered an extensive selection of Indian dishes, and our family of varying tastes and dietary restrictions was well catered for. The food was exceptional and incredibly fresh and vibrant. From flavourful curries and succulent tandoori meats, every dish was freshly prepared and bursting with authentic Indian flavours. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable. We would highly recommend Kohinoor Indian Cuisine for a family meal or any occasion. The delicious food, friendly staff, and welcoming atmosphere made it a memorable experience for us. We look forward to returning again soon!
