Stopped by Seven Penny for breakfast while in Greymouth for work. The restaurant has a lovely, quiet atmosphere and the staff were incredibly friendly. We had the Smashed Avo and the savoury bacon and banana pancakes—both were fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. A perfect spot for a calm morning meal!

Delicious slow cooked lamb with seasonal vegetables, plus the Scotch Fillet was perfectly cooked. Very generous servings make it great value for money.nJeanne took great care of us - friendly and super helpful.nFood was a little slow coming out, but otherwise it was a great experience and can highly recommend!

We did two visits here. First time we enjoyed the steak sandwich, so we came back. The portion was way smaller, just few mushrooms and sweet onions, few steak pieces. It tasted good, but not worth 30$ at all. Caesar was decent. Will not come back

pleasantly surprised with this place, we drove from Hokitika where we were staying and were desperate for some good food. And it sure hit the spot! The lamb salad was excellent and worth the hype, my partner had a Caesar wrap he enjoyed and we shared some delicious loaded fries. Big portions and very flavourful. Really nice ambiance inside and helpful staff. Coffees were ok very wide range of cabinet sweets and baked goods. We’ll definitely be back if we’re back these ways!

Enjoyed lunchtime tasty beef and cheese pie here, with a shared piece of cheese cake with a coffee to follow. Service and atmosphere was good. The cafe had been highly recommended. There was plenty of seating available outside undercover and Inside.
