Staff friendly in the bar. Band playing was bloody awesome. Crowd was really good. Felt like a well organized and safe event. Plenty of easy parking, well lit. Was a really good night the other night guys with the band Old Skool playing thanks so much best night in ages! Will be back

The people here were magnificent. They gave us our previous room which we have had 3 times now. Perfectly suitable room with all amenities necessary. It is our hotel of choice whenever we have to come to Christchurch. P.S. The friendly cat’s name is Google!

This is our place to stay when in Christchurch. Great value for money, the staff are absolutely FANTASTIC, food is great. Rooms have all been clean, Easy parking, great rooms for couples and for families, even our Grandkids have stayed here with us, Close to Northlands mall and did I mention the fantastic staff!Rooms: 5/5

Stopped for dinner at 6pm. Heaps of parking and w e got close to the back door which was a little bit of a guessing game but we followed the short path and the door opened. We booked for 8 at 6.00pm and there was our table ready. Our meals ordered and taken by the waitress. Sweet wee thing with a pleasant smile and nice attitude. Our meals came about 40 mins later by then, the place was full and humming. Meals came out and we nearly died. They were huge. Fought to finish mine which was pan fried fish with duck fat cooked potatoes. OMG to die for. We had to go and get our own salads which was easy and a simple selection. Devine evening and so dam cheap we queried we'd paid for 2 meals. Well done. We'll be back very soon with others to share your menu. Pudd was cancelled.

friendly staff, the room was okay, loud heater and fridge. we had a room close to the road so the wifi was barely useable and my data was also barely usable on 3G so if having a good internet connection is important to you maybe request a room closer to reception or find another hotel

Awesome service, lovely caring staff. Rooms are dated, but super clean and worth more than they charge. Meals were huge and delish plus way under budget, which means we will definitely be back.Rooms: 4/5

It's been changed inside different from when I was last there. It's very good now with a small seating area for lunch and dinner not sure for breakfast. But had a great meal great service from the bar. Food what I ordered was great. Be going back again as I live close by
