Selao Home & Garden Art -a small business based in Tahunanui, Nelson, New Zealand- a wonderland of quirky to sophisticated home and garden art. Come & see.

Story

After living in Lombok, Indonesia for 3 years and then returning to live in New Zealand I started importing Indonesian pots and stone carvings. The development of Selao Garden Art sprung out of the relationships I formed with Indonesian artists resulting in the wonderful range of art works we now provide to the gardens of New Zealand.

Our products are mostly made in Indonesia, many to our own design. We support local village crafts-people who use some recycled metal and other materials to create sustainable products. We strive to provide art works that are of good quality and excellent value for money.

I known Jane for quite a few years now, and she is a fantastic person to deal with, I’ve made many many purchases from her, one time I did have a slight problem with something I brought, and Immediately she offered to replace it. I'm in Australia and due to Covid wasn't able to visit my mum for a special birthday. Jane went out of her way to help me get a gift to her, even popping a personal note in with the gift so it wasn't just a parcel! The garden angels were a hit and are gorgeous. Can't wait to see them in my mums garden.

Lovely pieces for inside or outside on a patio or in the garden. I love all my art I got from Jane. It looks really striking and many people comment on them. Love looking around Jane's shop as well.
