Have been going here for a while without many issues however today they made me their critically acclaimed chicken burger with the chicken still cold and frozen in the middle. $14.50 pretty steep too. Will stick to just chips next time but only when desperate. For such a prime spot they really should up their game.Food: 1/5
While working at the airport for the past year this has been my go to lunch/ dinner spot and it never disappoints. Fish is always fresh, chips hand cut and crispy. The family who run the shop are always lovely even when they are slammed during the summer months. I have tried many fish and chip spots around Wellington and this is hands down the best. Pretty good price as well. I’m going to miss this place when I move back to Auckland.
Used to be very good but cost of living is taking a toll. The Pacific oysters I fear are not from NZ but imported Chinese oysters covered in batter. The fish is good and the chips are home cut and the family who run the business are lovely.
Grab a chicken burger, cross the road and sit on a beach bench while you’re munching it to have a best everyday experience, summer or winter. Thanks Vicky and staff, you’re the best Food: 5/5

This place consistently rates well on social media but I have found their food very average at and sometimes unappealing. Possibly I have been unlucky. However they serve generous scoup ice-creams. Across the road from Lyall bay Beach they are very handy for snacks, drinks and ice-creams to enjoy on the beach. Parking: Parking is scarce on weekend days when people are enjoying themselves on the beach. Lifeguards patrol the beach in summer and there is a children's playground nearby.

One of the best in Welly. Great service and good value for money. The fish and chips are excellent. I guess this is popular for the locals, I would come visit again.Food: 5/5
Good size for single scoop chips and fish. Tasted very good! Fish was soft, but, some chips were a bit big to my preference. Won't be disappointed
Don’t know what the food is like due to the rude lady behind the counter. Having a bad day don’t take it out on people who have never been in your rip off shop before. Took back my order cause of how I was spoken too.Service: 1/5
